Hellers Manuka Smoked Middle Bacon

Middle Bacon

The eye is selected from the Middle Loin and provides a leaner and smaller rasher of bacon. It is best cooked in a medium hot pan or under a hot grill and is an ideal size for homemade Eggs Benedict, or served as a whole rasher for a weekend brunch. Hellers Middle Bacon is cured and manuka smoked to give it that distinctive flavour and yet it’s great value and a real winner with the whole family.

Cooking Instructions

Under the grill: place bacon on grill tray below heat for approx. 3-4 minutes each side.
In the frying pan: brown bacon for approx. 10 minutes at a medium heat turning frequently.
In the oven: heat oven to 200ºC. Bake bacon for 12-18 minutes, no turning necessary.
