Smoked Bratwurst Sub, Mustard mayo, Pickles and Onions
Elevate your lunch with a Hellers Smoked Bratwurst Sub, topped with mustard mayo, pickles, and onions. A delicious, hearty meal that’s sure to satisfy with smoky bratwurst and tangy flavours.

Ingredients
- 6 tbsp mayonaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp ketchup or tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 4 Hellers smoked bratwurst
- 4 long subs, split at the top
- 4 - 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 gherkins, finely chopped
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- Dill or fennel tops to garnish

Mustard mayo - Mix all ingredients together

Cook the bratwurst on a grill or fry pan for about 15 minutes or until hot through.

Meanwhile, split the long subs in half down the middle, but leave them still attached at the bottom. Place a slice of cheese in the split of each sub, and put them in the oven to melt the cheese and toast the bun slightly.

Spread some mayo in each of the toasted sub. Place the bratwurst on top, then sprinkle over the chopped gherkins, chopped onions and dill. Drizzle over a little extra mayo. Serve immediately
