Different Methods
- Pan Fry: Preheat fry pan med-low heat. Add a small amount of oil and then gently place the meatballs into the pan. We recommend that you stay near the pan and turn and rotate the meatballs between the hot and cold spots of the fry pan to prevent burning. The best way to ensure a meatball is fully cooked is by cutting it in half to make sure it is thoroughly cooked and not raw in the centre. The juices should run clear and it will be very firm to touch. If you are adding a sauce to the meatballs, then ensure you brown them off all over before adding the sauce. This ensures the meatball has a delicious, caramelised meat flavour. Once the sauce is added we recommend a gentle simmer preferably with a lid on for 10 minutes or until the meatballs are thoroughly cooked. The meatballs can be partially browned off in the fry pan and finished off in a hot oven either in the fry pan or on a lined baking tray.
- Air Fry: Coat the air fryer basket with a little cooking oil spray then place the meatballs into the basket. Cook 200C for 5 mins then turn them over and cook a further 5mins until browned and thoroughly cooked.
