Ingredients
- 2 packs Hellers Porter Angus Beef sausages
- 50g butter
- 4 white onions peeled and sliced
- 2 cloves garlic peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp Rum and Que Porters Seasoning
- 2 sprig fresh rosemary
- 500ml fresh beef stock
- To serve: hot dog buns or mash potato and vegetables....
Method
- Preheat oven 180C
- Start by searing the sausages in a large fry pan with a little oil over medium heat or on the BBQ until evenly browned. Remove and place into a large oven proof dish or lined foil tray
- In a large fry pan add the butter, onions and rosemary and gently cook over medium low until tender, approx. 10 mins. Add the porter spice and garlic and cook a further 2 minutes.
- Pour in the stock and allow it to come up to a gently simmer. Pour over the sausages and place in the oven for 15-20 mins
- Serve up to a crowd with a side of hot dog buns and condiments or a delicious creamy mash potato and seasonal vegetables or salad
