Pull Apart Kentucky Chicken Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 x 250g pack Hellers Kentucky Shredded Chicken
  • 1 x 12 pack sliders
  • 1 cup colby cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • 3 spring onions finely chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • a small bunch of parsley leaves and fresh chives roughly chopped - save some to garnish
  • Sea salt and cracked pepper to taste
  • 100g garlic butter softened
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Parsley leaves and fresh chives roughly chopped for garnish
  • Optional:
  • Rich beef gravy or Jus for dunking
  • Extra garlic butter to smother them with

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C. Grease an approx. 9x13-inch rectangular baking dish with butter and without separating the rolls, cut 1 x 12 pack of slider rolls in half horizontally with a serrated knife. Place the bottom half of the rolls cut-side up into the baking dish
  2. Place the colby, mozzarella, spring onions, mayonnaise, sour cream and mustard into a medium bowl with a pinch of salt and cracked pepper. Combine well then toss through the Kentucky Chicken and a handful of chopped parsley and chives
  3. Spread the cheesy-chicken mixture evenly over the cut bottom half of the rolls. Top with the lid and then using a pastry brush generously brush the softened garlic butter over the top of the rolls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds then cover with tinfoil and place in the hot oven for 5 mins. Remove tinfoil and bake a further 2 mins - you want it to be golden on top and the cheese melting
  4. To serve garnish with extra fresh herbs, a side of extra garlic butter and if you feel like indulging some hot beef gravy or Jus on the side to dunk your rolls in lifts it to the next level!
