- 2 kumara peeled, cut into rough cubes, and boiled till tender
- 5-6 potatoes peeled, cut into rough cubes, and boiled until tender
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped

- 6 rashers of Hellers streaky bacon roughly chopped
- 1.5 cups frozen peas and corn mix
- Cream Corn Cheese Sauce
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 2tbsp butter
- 3 cups milk warmed
- 150g grated cheddar cheese
- 150g grated colby cheese
- ¼ tsp paprika
- 410g tin creamed corn
- Salt and pepper
- 100g colby or cheddar cheese for topping
- ¼ tsp paprika
