Ingredients
- 4 Hellers Burger Patties
- 4 burger buns
- 4 cheese slices
- 8 slices of your favourite Hellers bacon - we recommend our streaky for this
- Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp chiliflakes
- BBQ Kettle fries - we recommend Snackachangi
- BBQ sauce
- Aioli
Method
- Cook your burgers on a BBQ or fry pan over medium high heat until thoroughly cooked. Add a slice of cheese and set aside to keep warm
- While the burgers are cooking grill, BBQ or pan fry the bacon to your liking and then chop in half on a wooden board. Place into a small bowl and drizzle with about 1/4 cup maple syrup and add the chiliflakes. Toss well together and keep aside somewhere warm
- Cut the burger buns in half smear with bbq sauce and place cut side down onto the BBQ or fry pan and cook for about a minute until caramelised. remove and place onto a wooden board
- To assemble smear the cut side of the lid with aioli. Place the burger on the bottom half of the bun, top with the chili maple bacon and a generous amount of kettle fries. Pop the lid on and repeat for the remaining burgers
- Serve with extra kettle fries if you haven't scoffed them already!
