The Hellers BBQ Crunch Burger

A seriously bad boy burger! Bacon tossed in maple syrup and chilli flakes…BBQ kettle chips for a delicious crunch and your favourite Hellers Burger make this a nek level burger experience!

The Hellers BBQ Crunch Burger

Ingredients

  • 4 Hellers Burger Patties
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 cheese slices
  • 8 slices of your favourite Hellers bacon - we recommend our streaky for this
  • Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp chiliflakes
  • BBQ Kettle fries - we recommend Snackachangi
  • BBQ sauce
  • Aioli

Method

  1. Cook your burgers on a BBQ or fry pan over medium high heat until thoroughly cooked. Add a slice of cheese and set aside to keep warm
  2. While the burgers are cooking grill, BBQ or pan fry the bacon to your liking and then chop in half on a wooden board. Place into a small bowl and drizzle with about 1/4 cup maple syrup and add the chiliflakes. Toss well together and keep aside somewhere warm
  3. Cut the burger buns in half smear with bbq sauce and place cut side down onto the BBQ or fry pan and cook for about a minute until caramelised. remove and place onto a wooden board
  4. To assemble smear the cut side of the lid with aioli. Place the burger on the bottom half of the bun, top with the chili maple bacon and a generous amount of kettle fries. Pop the lid on and repeat for the remaining burgers
  5. Serve with extra kettle fries if you haven't scoffed them already!
