The Tattooed Butcher’s BBQ Bacon and Whisky Sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 100ml whisky of your choice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1/4 cup worchester sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 pieces Hellers streaky bacon
  • 1/2 brown onion finely chopped

METHOD

  1. Cook streaky bacon until crispy then remove and dice into small pieces
  2. Combine all ingredients in a pot and heat on a medium to low temp for 5-10 minutes stirring well. Once all ingredients have heated let the sauce simmer and serve on your choice of meat or burgers!
