The Tattooed Butcher’s Mozzarella Stuffed Thai Pork Meatballs

We teamed up with The Tattooed Butcher to create these tasty cheese filled Thai pork meatballs with a spicy BBQ sauce!

The Tattooed Butcher’s Mozzarella Stuffed Thai Pork Meatballs

INGREDIENTS

  • Hellers Thai pork meatballs
  • 100g mozzarella cheese diced into cubes
  • Sesame seeds
  • SPICY BBQ HONEY SAUCE: 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 5 tbsp sriracha sauce

METHOD

  1. Press hole in the middle of each meatball and add a cube of diced mozzarella then add your second meatball on the top, press together and roll into a ball shape. Repeat this with your packet of meatballs
  2. Preheat oven or BBQ to 200 degrees, you don’t want any direct heat so cook on fan bake or if using BBQ place meatballs on the opposite side of heat. Cook for 25 minutes
  3. Add all sauce ingredients into a pot and heat on a low temp for 5 minutes while stirring
  4. Remove meatballs once cooked then mix in your sauce pot ensuring all sides are covered with your tasty sauce, remove and sprinkle with sesame seeds and add a toothpick for easy eating!
For a kid-friendly version just remove the sriracha sauce!
