One Pan Creamy Tomato Fusilli with Salami

Ingredients

  • 1 Hellers Mild Salami stick diced
  • 500g Armando Il Fusillo Pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Fresh Crushed Garlic
  • 680g bottle Tomato Passata
  • 250ml water
  • 250ml Cream
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • Fresh thyme, snipped into pieces
  • 2 Tbsp Grated Parmesan
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and cook the onion until very soft. Add the garlic and cook for a few more minutes.
  2. Add the passata and water to the skillet and bring it to the boil. Reduce the heat, add the pasta, cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until the pasta is almost cooked.
  3. Toss the meatballs and sauce through the cooked pasta. Serve to the table in the pot or serve into individual bowls
  4. Stir in the cream, chopped salami, black pepper, thyme, and parmesan and cook uncovered for another 3 minutes.
  5. Check for seasoning and serve.
