Philly Cheese and Steak Burgers
Sticking with the classic Philly vibe we have added this extravagant addition…seared steak!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pack Hellers Philly Steak Loaded Hotdogs
- 4 large burger buns
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 2 green capsicums
- 2 white onions peeled and sliced
- Colby or cheddar cheese slices
- Tomato sauce or relish
- To serve:
- pickles
- tomato sauce
- mustard
METHOD
- Heat BBQ
- Blacken and cook the capsicum on the BBQ. Once cooled peel off additional skin, cut into 6-8 slices and remove seeds - set aside
- Cook the onions on a flat plate with a little oil and seasoning till tender - set aside
- Brush ribeye with oil and season with salt, sear and cook on BBQ to your desired style - allow to rest for at least 10 mins
- BBQ the sausages over medium heat until piping hot
- Cut burger buns [sear on bbq if desire] and butter, add relish or tomato sauce and cheese slices
- Cut the ribeye into finger size slices
- To assemble - place the sausage and steak into each bun, add onions, capsicum and finish with your favourite condiments
