How to Store Fresh Sausages

Tips and Tricks

1. Fresh sausages once opened will stay fresh for 2-3 days in the fridge as long as they are not right on their expiry date.
2. Once opened, place any unused fresh sausages into a clean labeled re-sealable bag or sealable plastic container to help keep them fresher for longer and prevent them drying out.
3. To freeze place any leftover fresh sausages into snap lock bags and clearly label and date, they will keep up to 3 months in the freezer. You can place all unopened packaged sausages straight into the freezer. To thaw place in the fridge overnight to allow them to defrost gently to maintain its structural integrity as much as possible.
