Bacon Garlic Bread

Garlic Butter has just gone to the next level – this is such an incredibly delicious recipe and will make you a hit at a dinner party!

Bacon Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 ciabatta loaf or baguette
  • 1 - 1.5 cups bacon garlic butter – find the recipe on our website

Method

  1. Preheat oven 180C
  2. Slice the loaf into inch wide slices 3/4 the way through
  3. Using a knife spread a generous amount of Bacon Garlic Butter onto each cut side of the slices
  4. Tear a large piece of tinfoil and place onto a baking tray. Place the same size piece of baking paper on top of the tinfoil. Place the Bacon Garlic Bread in the centre and wrap it up leaving a small gap running down the centre to expose a small amount of bread
  5. Bake for 10 mins until the butter has softened and the top has become crusty and golden. Peel back the tinfoil and baking paper slightly if the top isn't golden and bake a further 2-3 more minutes
  6. Serve immediately !
  7. Value Tip: this garlic bacon butter goes a long way - use sparingly to make two loaves one to serve and one for the freezer!
